Anyone tried "hidden Secret" small topper 6" by 2"?

Hi i finally got the nerve up to see a specialist in hair pieces and she said that a hidden secret small topper would do the trick(i have a lot of thinning on my crown) she ordered 2 so i could get a good colour match and was told that they have been discontinued in the honey and gold blonde.Looking online i can buy one but they,re quite expensive and i dont want to waste yet more money on hairpieces that end up in my ottoman.
Also does anyone feel so depressed by theyre hair loss they are nervous going out? in case someone says something,or i catch a look at myself in the shop mirrors. worried i will just burst into tears.

Did you ever get a topper? If so- type/maker? I just ordered my 2nd one..I don't love wearing it but it blends so well-- NO ONE knows! My dermatologist was blown away by how natural it looks.

Hi Amy, tomorrow im seeing 2 hair dressers the first im seeing about Micro dot extensions which are supposed to be kind to your hair and unnoticable.The second is about a custom made topper,so im not sure which road i,ll be going.I have hair thinning on top and crown area and dont feel comfortable going out,which sort do you wear and what type of hairloss do you have?.so glad your really happy with your topper,hope i,ll be feeling as good as you soon,J.

Let me know what you decide .. I got my 2nd topper today and I am not too sure about it! It is Jon Renau Top Volume and it is "poofy".. so maybe it needs to "settle" or something? The topper that I have and wear daily now is Yaffa- which is nice but pricey -- guess you do get what you pay for! I have telogen effluvium .. all my thinning is in the same area as yours .. what type do you have?
