Best Custom Human Hair Wigs-Philadelphia area

Hi all,

Does anyone have any suggestions for the best human hair custom wigs in the Philadelphia area.  The person who I was using sadly passed away and I need to find someone/somewhere new.  Any suggestions would be helpful.  I would also consider driving to NY.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Wendy,

My daughter is 26 and has had alopecia since the 3rd grade, She has been wearing full wigs for 8 years now. We have gotten most of her pieces from Theresa at Jude Plum in Bryn Mawr. She has a great selection and the entire 2nd floor of her shop is devoted to wigs. If you go, be prepared to spend a few hours at least as she is often distracted by other things going on in her shop. There is a place in Media called Lovely You that is often recommended and I wouldn't hesitate to go see them. Finally, my daughter and I recently visited Lois A Wig Boutique in Queen Village right in the city, and she did have some HH wigs as well as nice synthetics and she seemed very knowledgeable about maintaining and styling wigs. Thanks so much Lisa.  My sister lives in Bryn Mawr, so I'm there all the time.  I'll check the others out as well.
