Morning everyone! I've worn wigs for 10 years or so. I typically wear Human Hair, Mostly Follea Gripper Lite and I have one Style/Rene. I do have One I-wig. (They're Terrible!) I do not like the cap construction at all! Fades terribly and when you pull the hair back out of your face the cap/wefting shows! The cap is baggy and too stretch! If you pull your hair back in a pony tail it lifts!
Any suggestions on amazing Human hair wigs? I know Follea but what else? Anyone tried Lusta or Silk or Lace? Milano?...
Thank you for any suggestion and experiences you've had!

Hello! I would recommend you look into Freedom Wigs. I have Alopecia myself and have worn for 25 years (I am in my 40s now). After about 10 years of wearing, I asked them to become an agent and I've helped folks across the US for 15+ years now. It is an excellent option to explore if you have extensive Alopecia!
Hi Penepat 10!
I'm assuming you have not tried a Freedom vacuum? I admit that I wear them and also sell them, but I do it for a reason. I've never found anything that even comes close. Virgin hair, perfect laser scan fit and good longevity with no tape or glue. Chances are, there is someone who is an agent who lives close to you. Check them out. I'm now on my 30th year of wearing them. They are more expensive, so that is a consideration. Air does not pass through them, so they can be hotter than a regular wig, but the hair never gets sweaty and you can pop it off and on in seconds. Good Luck!!
I have been wearing Milano wigs for many years now. They are on the pricier side, but also very good quality. I have several that are around the 3-5 year mark. I have sent a few in to be "refurbished" and they have been able to add wefts or individual hairs to the lace and silk top. Also I've had them adjust coloring and it's always been a good experience. www.mcwigs.com
Hi! Are you familiar with a vacuum wig? I’ve been a wearer for 25 years and became an agent for them about 12 years ago. It changed my life as I love to swim and now I can. :) you can check out my website at www.resiliencehairgroup.com
I agree with you about the price.
I can afford to buy one after many years because my family and friends help me pay for it.
I get "cheap" ($120) wigs off Amazon. I use the got2b hair gel to secure it. When you search for wigs on Amazon, type human hair wig front lace cap. Make sure the listing has a picture of the cap. I like the 13x6 laces. I've worn all types of wigs in the 20 years I've been bald. These are good for 3-4 months, depending on how hard you are on them.
I've been wearing wigs for about 30 years and I can't afford most of the good wigs.
I'd like to try some of the options on the market, but they're ridiculously priced,
only for millionaires! :D
My choice is always to have them glued with tape, because for me the security and
freedom they provide are the most important thing.
The most expensive ones I've ever used, and which I used for a few years, were from
"Rueber" brand, which were basically poly prostheses (like the ones for men).
They were good prostheses, made of human hair, and lasted a long time.
However, I decided to start trying other options, because of the price and also
because the hairline of these prostheses isn't my ideal.
So I started testing full lace wigs (they have to be glued) and that's what I currently use,
although I put them on and take them off EVERY day! But I'm adapted to this.
I like the option with a silky top.
Maybe the best ones I've used were from "Heavenly Tresses" or "Tiffani Chanel".
But of course, I see wonderful wigs that look great on various Instagram pages.
I have a size limitation, so for me it always has to be custom made because the
standard ones are always too big for me, so there are several brands that are not an
option for me.
It's a whole world to explore! :D
Good luck!
Good Afternoon, I have been wearing wigs for the last eight years and after about a year I found Freedom Hair. They have been a game changer for me! Kim Karack is my rep and I saw she has already reached out to you.I am in the process of purchasing my third hair piece and am looking forward to it! The price is a little high, but each one has lasted me over three to four years. Though I am buying new my older ones are still wearable. The older pieces help me extend the life of the new one. They are worth the money spent!
I tried Follea, overpriced using inferior hair. I spend a lot for my wigs which are custom made. Freedom wig that a couple people are trying to sell are vacuum silicone base, which makes one overheat in gently warm weather. I prefer a mix of p/u and lace offers the perfect breathability for the head.
