I just discovered that I have a big, raised bump, what looks like a goose egg if you bump yourself, only I didn't bump my head on anything.

Do you think it could be related to the CLobetasol steroid foam I've been applying to my scalp? I did get steroid shots around that spot, but that was in February, and it didn't appear until now. It doesn't hurt and it's not soft. It's a hard bump.

Thanks for any input!

Aimee,

I've never heard of a raised bump/goose egg from steroids. Usually steroids cause atrophy which would make an intent. A side effect of steroids can be acne- any chance it's something like that? If it's that you should see a change over the weekend. If not- I'd call the doc on Monday.
that happened to me when I was using that stuff. I had to stop using it. U might need to contact u doc soon!!!
