Can hair grow all back?

She has fuzzy hair growing back. I also see terminal black hairs coming in on eyebrow, and lashes area. Also around her head. Is this a good sign it can all come back? I'm so happy for her no steroid use either. Not this time. Once we had it all grew bak but fell out again. This is her 2nd year dealing with alopecia.

I have the same question. No hair for two n half years. Yesterday my husband found 6 hairs on the side of my head and some of my eyebrows coming back. I was so excited. On closer inspection my sister found an area on the top with several black hairs coming out. I hope this is the beginning of the end. Good luck with your growth.

My daughter is in a regrowth cycle also having had AU for 3 years.. Alot of dark hair patches on her head and eyelashes growing. We don't know what it means.It is possible to fully regrow but it can also all fall out again. We remain hopeful for a full remission.Good luck and hopefully it will be full regrowth for your daughter.

I really hope it's good news and it will all grow back. I'm so exhausted with this problem. I'm so tired of the up and down. I was good with it gone, but when I saw the little regrowth I got excited. Don't want to be dissapointed again.

My daughter is not focusing on the regrowth for this reason. She said that she knows she can live like this but doesn't want to go thru the fall-out again if it happens. Such an emotional roller coaster.

That's my biggest fear. I started seeing some growth but its very, very slow and spotty. I don't want it all back to find out it falls out again. I went through a lot the first time I don't think I can handle it a second time
