Can you get those semi permanent eyelashes if you have no lashes at all??

I have lost all my eyelashes, and was wondering if I could get those semi permanent eyelashes applied directly to my eyelid.

I have tried the fake lashes, and really suck at them. I just draw on a dark black liner, and it looks good enough. I would just love to have some eyelashes again.

Hi you! I tried to get someone to put them on and you need to have eyelashes to do so - same with having your eyelashes implanted (I was desparate)...they would need to use hair (which we do not have .. .sadly) from the back of your head to implant your eyelashes..That's what two great doctors told me here in Colorado.
I use eyeliner too - but look on this site or go to Cheryn.com and you'll see some great tutorials on putting false eyelashes on OR how to create eyeliner so it looks like lashes...She's lovely! Also - One great tip I got from another AU girl was to put the glue both on the lash line AND on your eye...Seems to work - and I suck at it too - but getting better :) Best wishes to you!
Rebecca
Thanks for sharing. You sound as desperate as I feel. I think I am still going to go a consultation and see what they can do. The girl who does my hair said another one of her Alopecia clients got her eyelashes done. She wasn't sure if she had complete eyelash loss like me, but I figure it's worth a shot. Also, thanks for the info about the site to learn to not suck at fake eyelashes, I will check it out!
I am not ready yet to do the tattoo thing, the idea still freaks me out.
It did me too - and it's not easy but I have to say - waking up and having eyelashes and eyebrows is a wonderful thing...that was the thing I missed most. I still hate not having eyelashes - but the tattooing helps immensely. I'm a huge baby so it was not fun but it is so worth it. When you are ready - you let me know - I'll help you along.
Hi Rebecca. I am seriously considering eyebrow and eyeliner tattoos...how was it really? Did you have a lot of swelling or anything?

Hi there -
The tattooing was fairly simple. I would ENSURE you get someone amazing - my lady has had to fix the job another "professional" started (reddish and too high) so that's my number ONE concern.
Second - there was minimal swelling. The eyebrows and eyeliner are a godsend. Truly. WOrth the discomfort.
Let me know if you want to chat. I'm such a huge believer in this. To wake up and have an expression - just a blessing.

That is awesome. I am not sure how I would find someone amazing. I do know one person that goes to my church that has done the eyeliner and it looks great....guess I can start with her and ask. Sure i'd love to chat offline. I live in Alabama....i could give you my phone number. let me know. I am on facebook too.

Hi Rebecca I just got tattoo eyebrows they are great. What did they do to make you look like you had eyelashes?????

Hi Amber,

Im a 30 year old woman from Sweden who is new on this site. I still have lashes left but they are falling out rapidly. I think I can handle to hairloss on my head pretty well but the lashes just freaks me out.

Honestly, I feel the same but there is no way for them to attach them when you have so few. That's what I was told. I such at fake lashes as well and don't "do them" often. I feel so much more feminine when I do put them on but normally just do the thick eyeliner. No one can tell - but us.
:) Blessings.

Amber, I lost my eyebrows and eyelashes recently so am in the same situation.  I looked into the semi permanent eyelashes, but as previous ladies have said, you need to have your own eyelashes for them to attach to.

I actually went to a beautician near me who and she showed me how to put on the false eyelashes.  Like everything there is a knack to it!  I found having someone show me in person better than watching the tutorial online.  I sucked at the start too but they get way easier with practice!

Good luck,

Máire
