Hello people

I have a little predicament that I can't really figure out what to do with...

Now, my story is that about 2 and a half months ago I noticed a small bald spot in my nape...which is now a bigger bald space at the back of my neck...which looks like a big circle has been cut out from my hairline lol....and my left temple has a circle missing, also starting from the hairline, and I have one behind my ear, and one on top etc etc, all this is pretty irrelevant to my question, kind of.

Anyway, I had my hair coloured one week before I noticed the first spot, which was not there when my hair was coloured (important info? I dunno...)

Could the hair colour be a trigger for alopecia? i don't colour my hair much at all, prob about 4 times in my life...and peroxide was used as I wanted red hair...hmmm. I now have about 1.5cm roots of my normally shitty brown hair showing against this lovely, albeit faded, red....but I am far too scared to colour it again, neither red nor a closer match of my natural colour, for fear of it aggravating the alopecia...so I have to live with these roots for ages.

So, my question to you lovely people is....do I take a risk and colour my hair brown again so the roots don't show and panic myself something stupid about further hair loss, or do any of you have any tips on growing out hair colour?

Many thanks
