Crawling sensation

hi there just posting this to see if anyone has ever had the same symptoms as me?
iv recently had a tingly crawling sensation on one of my large bald spots. this is unlike the symptoms i usualy have when my hair falls out as usually my scalp gets tender and sore to touch.......thanks for reading this and hopefully ill find out soon x

Yep, I always have exactly the same symptoms. I can tell when a "spot" is coming on,because my scalp starts tingling. Within a few days, there's an inflammed bump like a pimple on my scalp. I know it's time to get the Rogaine out and start treating the spot before all the hair falls out there.

BTW, I'm 52 and have had alopecia areata since 2004. Good luck! I am also a Laura

Yes I have that too but early days in my diagnosis for me so I am not sure if it means hair is falling out or if hairs are growing back...anyone?
