difficulty with hot flashes/freezin/controlling body temperature

I'm reaching out to the older woman on this site, that have had alopecia as a child, or teens, and now menopausal, or past menopausal.

It seems I"m having difficulty controlling my body temperature. I either get a hot flash,,,after 18yrs of hotflashes, but now, I overheat, get soak and wet, can wring my cloth. Then I get hypothermic, and either continue the hot and colds, then it passes for a week or so, just to start up again. I don't wear a wig, and do have alopecia universalis, and have had for 48 yrs now. My doc, bless her soul, is at a loss, and our Canadian doctors are too busy for complex cases. I also seem to get sick all the time, and wondering if there are others. I know something is wrong with my immuno-responce, maybe t-cells, hormonal. Seems hormone issues came with my alopecia when I was a child, as I started my menses at the same time.

Anyone, having this chronic condition. It saps everything out of me, and at 54 I"m in bed more than out?

Help

Blessings,

Willow
