That is what happened to me the first time - diffuse AA with no spots.  Over 6 months I lost about 90% of the hair on my head, and 50-75% of the hair on the rest of my body.  One day, it all came back.  Went into remission for 3 years.  The second time around it was spots that have progressed to ophisis pattern over two years.  I'm down to about 50% of my hair right now.

i have had diffuse AA with no spots for almost 2 years. so im not sure if i will get spots or not. it worries me thats why i want to know if anyone else has diffuse AA

Hi!

I had diffuse thinning since I was about 14 years old. The massive shedding just started about 6 months ago. I still didn't have patches.  So, for over 30 years I've had diffuse alopecia. Never wore a wig, just some extensions when I went out.

oh really! thats good to hear! im so used to everyone saying they lost all their hair

Hi baby blue

I know this is a old post but did you lose all of your hair or has it all grown back?? and how did you cover your thinning??

My diffuse AA is annoying me.. Its been falling out for just over a year now.. and now my eyelash and eyebrows, arm hairs and nose hairs are all "diffusing" away very very slowly.. its super frustrating..

What happened with your case??
