I have noticed this before, and was wondering if anyone else has seen this, when I'm losing in a specific area, I notice that my scalp is not stark white in spots, but is pinkish tan colored, I thought I noticed it before, but just thought maybe my scalp was always that color there, like a birthmark or something. I haven't run across anything about this, I know sometimes people get feelings, like pain or itching during loss periods (I get itchy) but I thought this was kinda weird, and it can't be from the rogaine, as its not everywhere I put it and it doesn't resemble a rash of any kind...thanks for any input on this, just so curious.

My eyebrows certainly go a bit pink when they itch ready to fall out. In general though my skin is very very pale, almost white.

My hair also itches like crazy with regrowth.
Thanks Patricia for the response, I know that it's not really a big deal, but I have certainly noticed it lately and in the past, it almost looks like my scalp is a bit tan there, but its where no sun reaches ( as if there is any sun out much these days) I'm pretty fair skinned also, and especially my scalp is quite white. I wonder if it has something to do with inflammation?? obviously something is going on, for crying out loud my hair is falling out....lol
I guess unless someone else on here has some medical reason, we will just have to chock it up to just one more mystery of AA.
