Hi, all. I am a Newbie here. Since childhood, I've used to have very thin hair, and now I've lost the 5th part of what I had had. I know it is so noticeable, and I feel everywhere so confused. I know, I have just to get used to it. But hopefully, it will come with time. Now I would like to know if anyone uses ceramic curling irons? I've read they are gentle with the hair. So hopefully this device won't impair, what I have and also will give some volume to what I have now.

Any heat device used daily over time will damage the hair. Many of the ceramics go over 400 degrees, which it too hot but that is the temperature that makes the hair LOOK shiny, but it is an illusion. The hair is still damaged.
Chris, thank you for your reply. As far as I understood, it is better at all not to use any heat deviced according to your mind?
Although the ceramic iron is claimed to distribute heat evenly and release negative ions to moisturize and smooth out the hair. But this is what advertising often says. What I want to say is It depends on how you use it and your hair. If your hair is very fragile, I suggest you not use frequently it because it makes things worse. If you need to go to the party the next day, then this curling ironcan come in handy, so you can be impressive.
