was diagnosed 3 months ago with eyebrow only  Alopecia areata after suffering eyebrow loss over 10 years ago.

Since then I have periods of patchy regrowth followed by it falling out for sometimes months although the balding stage can last longer. The periods where the hair stays has become shorter and the hair almost non existent. My brows are currently the worst they have ever been with afew hairs only on each eyebrow tail.

Has anyone else had this and can offer advice please? Whilst a relief I have an answer for the bald brows I’m finding it’s hard to find treatment that might work. I was prescribed Elidel by my dermatologist but had no luck so far. I see him again next month and may be having a skin biopsy.

I have tried rogaine over the years and it’s not helped enough to be noticeable.

any advice would be welcome

Bimatoprost drops, used for glaucoma but as a side effect grow eyelashes. Topically, it works on brows for some people. Search for LATISSE but you may check with your DOC for a prescription.
