I am looking for some good advise from ladies on creating eyebrows.
About 2 years ago I shaved my head, as about 40% had fallen out due to Alopecia. About a year later I had lost all my hair and recently my eyebrows too. I still have my eye lashes (fingers crossed) and for the last few months, as my last eyebrow hair fell out, i have been using make-up to draw on my brows. Apparently, friends say this looks pretty good, and that they wouldn't know if I didn't tell them etc. etc.
But now that there is literally no hairs left, its getting harder and harder for the make-up to look real. As much as I want to be one of those people who march around without hair or eyebrows and face the world all confident and bald, in my day-to-day life, in my job, i need to have hair. I stand in front of clients and present, I can't have something like this distract those I works with from what I am doing or saying.
So.. I need to find a new eyebrow solution. Has anyone tried those real hair stick on eyebrows I've seen online? Any other solutions anyone knows about? I am thinking about getting bangs cut in one of my wigs to hide the brows a little... any advise? I could really use it!
Thanks,
Brittany

Brittany, I am currently in the same situation as you. I am gald you posted and look forward to seeing responses as well. I work in a corporate office and have the same thoughts with peoples attention being where we would hope it to not be!!
Brittany, I had my eyebrows tatooed on last year also, I am very happy with them and thinking about getting eye liner too.
Thanks everyone! Can anyone send me a pic of your tattooed eyebrows? I am interested in it, but have always been worried that it won't look real because its not 3 dimensional - sounds like you guys are loving them tho, and that's exciting. Becca, I am about to start a new job and its definitely a little daunting to me, so yes, we are totally in the same boat.
Bangs are good...my black rimmed glasses are my eyebrows. Tatoos are scary. Good luck finding what works best for your situation:) Bald is beautiful:)
I just had mine done. Check out my picture, I like it and have gotten good feedback from others.
I used to pencil /powder them in, but eventually found eyebrow wigs. A quick search gave me planty of options. Some can be worn for a week or two at a time. I was nervous about how I looked "up close" and this solved it for me.
Hi BritE,
LOVE your profile pic! There is a lady on here, RoseMarie whose daughter tried the stick-on real eyebrows and she has taken pictures of them on her page. To me, they look amazing. Check them out.
Hi Brittany,
I lost my eyebrows about 4 years ago and I draw them on with a Mac eyebrow pencil. Different people have suggested getting them tattooed on and different things, but I find that it's just a lot easier drawing them on. Once you do it for long enough, you really get the hang of it, and with Mac pencils the eyebrows stay on for a couple days which is nice. There might be an easier way, but I love having the flexibility with drawing them on.
Good luck!
I lost my eyebrows only a few months ago...I have some white peach fuzz starting to grow back. I'm not ready for anything permanent at this time. I'm also using a MAC pencil..love it..
Hi B,
there is something called 3D eyebrows, which is a tattoo, but they draw individual strokes so it looks like real hair instead of just a thick line. Google it, they look very natural.
My daughter uses the Realistic Eyebrows that we buy at Headcover.com You can see her photos on my page. She uses an eyebrow pencil over them and it looks pretty good.
