Over the past month I have noticed that the eyelashes on my right eye are "gapping"..
My left eyelashes are really thick and then my right eye is just awful,I never thought my eyelashes would fall out, they never have before only my hair..I am very upset, reason why I'm writing this to find out information..
I hope my eyelashes don't all fall out, they are the second biggest feature on my face, they are long, they curl, and they were thick, all I'm thinking about is "will my eyebrows be next?"
I think it would be a bit obvious if they fell out and I drew them on as they are really thick, if you look at my pictures you can see that they are thick and "bushy",I just don't know,I'm really stressed out right now I know its not the best thing to do when you loose your hair,stress.. but as you would be..

How have you handled loosing your eyelashes?
have they grown back?
or if you wear fake ones, where do you buy them from and do they look good?

same goes to the eyebrows?:(

I woke up a few days before xmas last year and found my right eyebrow missing. I thought my housemates had played a prank. If only. Next day half the left eyebrow. Within 3 days, the only hair left on my body were my eyelashes which were never remarkable to begin with. I shut down and didn't leave the house for 3 weeks when a professional makeup artist friend came over to show me how to draw them on. Three weeks ago I did the eyebrow embroidery which I highly, highly recommend. Just find a decent artist.

I've been shaving my head for over 10 years, so I'm very, very comfortable with my smooth head. The eyebrows disappeared in a matter of days. To answer your question, I didn't handle it well. It was a shock! Fast forward to a week after eyebrow embroidery, I'm used to the new look. Now? It's hardly on my mind. What doesn't kill me really does make me stronger. I pick up what's left, and create something new. The best me has yet to be realized. I'm a film & television actor by the way. And I'm still booking! Cheers!! =)

Welcome to my world too! My right eyelashes have again begun to fall out. I have tried false lashes and cannot get them on... The eyebrows were easier to deal with, I just had permanent ones done. I have done this three times as they fade some with the sun. But I too am really struggling emotionally with the lack of lashes. Don't know why they came back or why they fell out!

hi liv,

my eyebrows thinned a huge amount and my eyelashes had gaps in that were alowly getting bigger when i went from aa to at. i thought i was on the verge of au. i started using regaine for men on my eyebrows with a cotton bud and lightly around my eyelashes twice a day. i dont know if it was a coincidence or if it actually worked but within 2 months i saw my eyelash gaps fill and my eyebrows thicken again. My dermatologist said that theres very little link between regaine and regrowth in at/au but it seemed to work for me. i;d give it a try. truth is regaine for men isnt cheap (i;m a student so it seems like im spending loads) but 1 bottle for 20 odd quid lasted 4 months or so because theres not much area to apply. i;d give it a try because you never know
