I would like to wear false eyelashes, but I keep running across products that extend the existing eyelashes. What types of eyelashes can I purchase if I do not have any?

Hi Tyla

There are some very good online eyelash distributors. My daughter has worn false eyelashes for the last 3 years. I'm lucky enough to be able to go through Hong Kong when I travel for business so I pick hers up there. It will all depend on what you want you eyelashes to look like, there are many different styles available. In my experience with my daughter I would always suggest using DUO medical adhesive to stick them on.

I have also heard could feedback about "headcovers". I'm not sure of there website address but just google it and I'm sure you will find them.

Hope that helps a little.

Rosy

Hi Rose Marie,

Do you mind sharing where you bought the lashes in Hong Kong?

Thanks!

Karla

Hi Rose Marie, My name is Lori and I have head hair but no lashes or brows.  I have tried almost  over the counter eye lash possible but none seem to look natural.  I finally found some from Korea but after a year, they said they would no longer send to the United States.  May I ask what company you get your daughter lashes and if they mail to the US?    Thank you for any help you can give me.

Sincerely,

Lori

try reading through all the replies by Eva on this thread-she gives good advice for USA-Ardell-DUO glue etc. You can get Ardell in drugstores but only in black and certain styles.Drug store lashes are often good for special occasions but not for everyday "office" wear-too dramatic. You can buy Ardell very inexpensively at Ball Beauty. Lots of choice.

BTW-because you pushed the reply button to an early message in the thread, not the latest in this thread, it might be hard for some folks to find your message.

I too am interested in false eyelashes. I don't have any either and always here how to extend the lashes but don't hear much on people without eyelashes applying them
Hello Tyla

If you have a local CVS pharmacy, I know that they carry full lashes as I bought some from them over a year ago. They are in the section that carries makeup.
HI there,

I just ordered from Blinkies, saw their ad on this site. They are available with the eyeliner so easier to attach. I hope so, I just bought some regular ones at the drug store and I will NEVER get those on!

I'll let you know how they work!

Nancy
I had zero luck with Blinkies. Perhaps being a male with no experience in cosmetics is a factor.
Tyla, I wore false lashes for years. You can learn more about them at www.iwearawig.com. Would love to help you. Binkie is a great brand.
Thank for telling us about blinkies ! am soo happy :p x
Hey I just joined this site as a member and I am trying to start a group about stuff like this, I have been wearing false lashes for 3 years until recently. I used Revitalash (http://www.revitalash.com/) starting Feb 08" last year on my lashes that almost did not exist ( I have alopecia areata) , and they grew to the point that I could wear mascara by July, to make them look thicker and darker (they grew back mostly blonde). The problem with Revitalash is I have had some redding around my lash line since I started using it but I didn't care because I had lashes!!! I recently started using a formual from B Kamins Eyelash Fortifier ( https://www.securewebexchange.com/bkamins.com/cgi-bin/cart_06/bkami...
product=Antiaging&cuantos=1&lang=en&cart_id=7873297.19429 make sure to scroll down a little on the page to find it) for lash regrowth in place of Revitalash and the redding is starting to lighten. I don't know if it works as well as Revitalash yet because I just started and it will take a while to notice the results. And about false lashes the BEST ones trust me are Shu Uemura, I would recommend these the Lux Black,(BEEE UU TI FUL!) and Smoky Layers. Here is the link for those to, and also I would buy the glue.

And Glue Link: ( http://www.neimanmarcus.com/store/catalog/prod.jhtml?itemId=prod264... :

If you need any other help or have questions just sent me a message,
xoxo Francie
I wear them a lot -- in my book I teach you how to put them on and how to make them look natural. I like Ardell #120 demi -- they look really good! And use Ardell Lashgrip glue, in the darktone. This glue is lots better than Duo...stays on longer and tighter. You can get both theses lashes and the glue at Fred Meyer or other large variety store.
I would love to hear from those of you who have tried Blinkies. I have never had a problem with my eyelashes staying on, even though I have none of my own. Do Blinkies look real? Have you tried both tops and botteom lashes? I might have to get a set...
