I have struggled with AA for years. Wasted thousands of dollars on the top wigs to try to get my normal life back....but everything was always a disaster.
I work in wildlife rehabilitation, and nursing.....both are required to wear you hair UP!
I know,...a wig wearers nightmare.....
I ran out of money, so had to just take my chances with a random wig offline and take it to someone to cut/ style......and she actually made it so my hair can look natural up in a pony tail!!!
She took so much time with me and listened to what I needed. She did research to help the hair line look real. She is affordable. A color specialist! She even took me in on a day the shop was closed because I was embarrassed to be seen by a ton of people!
I couldn't believe it. HIGHLY recommend her for anyone who is struggling with alopecia.
I can't say enough nice things.

That is her personal cell phone number. She gave me permission to share with my fellow alopecia people.
She does mens hair as well and is also specializing in toppers and extensions for those not fully bald yet.

WOW!! That looks amazing. So happy you found something that works for you and your style. I know how difficult that is...Too bad she's in the West Coast.
Right. I'm trying to find somebody on Florida's west coast.
I suggest you use natural virgin hair, the human hair is very soft, gloss and sports are not easy to be copied by artificial hair. Its versatility allows you to use curls or bone lines like your own hair, and can last longer. This is what synthetic wigs can't do. Natural virgin wigs look the most natural. It can become curly, messy or windy. No one has perfect hair at all times. It feels like natural hair.It can be molded using a heating device, just like the head from the beginning. This means that wigs can be dried, curled, pressed and curled without damaging the hair immediately.Wigs can also be colored by a professional toner. It requires high maintenance.Just like real hair, a human hair wig needs to be washed regularly, adjusted for depth and reshaped.
But natural wigs are more expensive than synthetic ones. High maintenance. Just like real hair, a human hair wig needs to be washed regularly, adjusted for depth and reshaped.
Like your own hair would, human hair wigs react to the weather and can become frizzy, limp or dry depending on the weather.Synthetic wigs are less maintained, and synthetic wigs keep their style, regardless of the weather.Synthetic wigs are easy to take care of.Because fake wigs have something called "style retention," they never need style. All you have to do is wash, dry, and shake them out, and the wig will return to its original style.
Thank you so much!! I live in LA and I am always looking for new hair stylist
