First Month on Xeljanz: From Totally Bald (AU) to Peach Fuzz!

Hey everyone! IM SO EXCITED!!! I started Xeljanz on July 28th (see my previous discussion called "Starting FREE Xeljanz for AU: My Background) and saw peach fuzz today! I actually felt some last week, but didn't see anything in my mirror at home. One of my friends said she thought she saw ONE HAIR yesterday above my left ear. But today 3 different friends said they saw peach fuzz on the top of my head & when I looked in my car mirror I SAW THEM MYSELF! Little spiky, light colored vellus hairs. My first hair growth in six years!

Yes, it's definite. My friend saw the hairs yesterday and started jumping up and down with joy and excitement!I'm glad that others on this board explained what vellus hair v. terminal hair is, so I would be prepared. Thanks!

Thanks, I'M SO EXCITED! I first started losing my hair in 2009, and by 2011 it was all gone. I kept praying it would spontaneously return one day, but now feel there was little chance of that happening. Thank God for this drug and the science that made it possible!
