For those who don't have any hair, how do you secure your wigs or do you need to at all?

Hi there everyone!

I was just wondering at the moment I have some hair at the moment, but for those of you who don't and wear wigs....

How do you secure your wig to your head?

Do you secure yours at all/do you need to ?

If you could let me know that would be great!

Tighten the wig....can we say HEADACHE !!!

I shave my head & wear wigs. I don't use anything to secure the wig. I feel like my bald head sort of creates a suction for the wig. I've walked in very strong winds, and the wig didn't budge. The only time when it has budged was when I moved it myself. I hope that helps! You can use tape/adhesive with some wigs, but it can take some trial/error to find out what works best. Most wigs come with adjustable straps so you can make it tighter.

Hi

My daughter wears a Freedom Vacuum wig. These wigs do not require glue or tape and are comfortable and secure. The vacuum is achieved by taking a very accurate mould of the clients head (either by laser scan or plaster mould). This achieves a fit that gives security and comfort for the wearer. My daughter, swims, roller coasters...lives her life in her wig.

A Freedom Vacuum wig is designed for those without hair or who choose to take away the hair they have. They are very comfortable and secure which makes them work well for my daughter and those that wear them.

This choice for my daughter gives her the ability to have complete security, realism and comfort, all those things are very important to her as she has been wearing a wig for 10 years. Anything less would be quite limiting for her lifestyle. Security for her is very important, I sort of feel that for most who choose to wear a wig they want to feel secure and know that their wig is not going to come of when they don't expect it.

I have had 2 freedom vacuum wigs, highly recommend them. None can tell you are wearing a wig and the comfort level is wonderful. I can say Rose Marie is right on with not needing to worry about it moving, because it is personal to you it fits perfectly.

Hi

What cost am I looking at with a Freedom Vacuum wig? Thanks:)

The wig I have has an adjustable band inside. Even when it is very loose, it still gives me a headache. I have no hair at all and have heard there are wigs that have suction cups in them that are more secure. I am going to try to find one that is comfortable to wear. I'm not sure exactly where to find it, but that is the plan.

I used tape that I got with my wig but only use it if it dosent irritate your skin. It irritated my skin so I did not use it.

I wear a wig cap underneath my monotop and use the tightener thingies in the back but I hate it. At this point I am ready to shift to something that i can glue on my head and forget about!

I wear synthetic wigs. And use a little dab of Brandywine hairpiece adhesive on the front crown.
