Hi everybody,
I'm new to the site and am so excited to have found you all. I have had AT for many years and just recently purchased my first full lace wig. I like the fit and it feels secure with the adhesive but I am having a problem with matting and tangling. I have only had it a few weeks and this darn this was expensive. I was told it should last a year but I don't see how. Has anyone had a problem with matting/tangling int he back. And if so, what can I do/use to prevent this? Thanks!! Also, anyone know of a reputable place to purchase full lace wigs.
Thanks,
Valerie

I have been happy with the celebritystylewigs place. You can google it. They are reasonable. Some of the wigs tangle worse than others. Use alot of conditioner on the ends.
i have found good wigs and www.beautytrends.com and they have all kinds of wigs and they are cheep but they are the same and the ones that cost alot.
Where do you get your wigs?-on your page I saw themand they look so natural-do you wear the lace front ones and doesnt the lace show on the skin?
I feel like a kindred spirit-I just love hair, loved it when I had it, trying to find the right fit to love it now. I have tried a variety of pieces HH, synthetic in my year of baldness and am dying to try lace. Very intimadating process. Thought about trying a cheap synthetic but I do not think that will work with lace especially since I have a smallish odd shaped head(sounds attractive) I am open to any advice you may have for i trial run with lace, I have found long hair does not work well for me so i do not think tangling will be a super issue since I only want chin-shoulder length.

Thanks,

Joanne
I've still experienced tangling with shoulder length hair so please keep me posted on your experience. I love the feel of the lace; it's comfortable and I think it looks natural.Try it; i'll bet you will love it.
Has anyone ever tried wigs from Luxurious hair boutique? The prices seem to good to be true.
