I decided to check my homeowners to make sure my custom wigs are covered. I have to admit I felt slightly 'weird' asking my insurance agent this question - but I explained that I have two very expensive custom wigs that cost thousands each and I wanted to make sure they were covered if damaged or lost (traveling) or even stolen. It stumped my agent for a second and required research on his part but fortunately for me no extra rider is necessary and my wigs are covered under the contents of my home.

So, you may want to check if you have expensive wigs or an expensive collection - just in case.
