Girlfriend recently been told she has alopecia. Best way to support?

Hi everyone,
My girlfriend has alopecia, she started to notice a large area of hair loss is getting larger at the back which is causing her to become stressed, anxious and panics. I've done research to get more info, but what is the best way to support her? She means the world to me any useful advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

Ash

I lost all my hair when I was 12, so basically every guy I've ever been in a relationship with has had to deal with this! Here's what I told them: just make me feel like you'll love me no matter what. Honestly, as a girl with Alopecia, that's the best advice I've got. It's kind if an isolating illness, because it mainly just affects the way you look and largely impacts your self esteem and mental state, so you feel stupid about complaining (because you aren't dying or losing a limb), but at the same time, at least for me, it really makes it difficult to connect with people and feel comfortable. You always feel like you're missing something or feeling obligated to explain yourself. And not many people understand what that is like. So just let her know that you will love her no matter what, and that your care for her is not defined by how much hair she has or doesn't have.
Also, you may have to be patient as she acclimates to this new challenge. It's emotional and difficult to adjust to, but having someone able to handle occasional tantrums and anger and tears and gloominess is invaluable.
Hope that helps! Best wishes to you both!
Being a 41 year old female,I've been through this for a year now,I think supporting her, calling or texting her through ou every day would remind and make her feel you would support her at this time and any time she needs you.you could tell her the wigs(if she needs them) which ones you like )hair is just hair.except her anyway she is comfortable.
