I have had alopecia for 3 years now. I ended up growing my hair back and now I'm losing it again. Has anyone experienced this and what happens?

Hi Bree!

I lost all of my hair about 5 years ago (AU). And then in September 2012 my hair randomly started growing back. In the beginning it was very patchy, but then filled in. Over the past several months, a few large patches have developed. I was seeing a derm and getting coritsone injections for a while. But I just don't feel like doing that anymore. I think the course of it is so damn random and so scary! Is yours coming out in patches?

Hi Ellen,

Is there anything you did to get your hair back? Treatment, diet, exercise, meditation, etc? ... Congrats on it all growing back. Did your eyebrows come in too? Best of luck with everything and any thoughts or feedback would be great. thank u.

Hi Jason,

I wasn't doing anything really...Slowly over time I'd say my diet changed to a more organic diet. But I wasn't interested in any treatment, or investing any energy into something that might fail. Eyebrows and some eyelashes are back. I have noticed that my stress levels do impact the amount of hair that falls out. I try to practice prayer and meditation daily.

Hi Bree

I'm sorry that you are going through hairloss again...because that is hard.

My daughter's hair has come and gone 6 times in the last 10 years.  There doesn't seem to be any particular pattern and has had little to do with her lifestyle (stress etc.)

For some alopecia can be incredibly unpredictable (my daughter is one of those people).  We try and focus on things that we can control...like how she wants to present herself etc. (in her case she prefers to wear a Wig).  We have discussed how she wants to discuss her alopecia with those around her (she is very open about her hairloss).  All these things have gone on to make her feel empowered through the journey that her alopecia continues to be.

If I can help in any way just let me know.

Yes, Listen to me very closely.  Don't panic.  You have to really calm your nerves literally.  Something is going on in your life that is stressing you and your not totally comfortable like you want to be.

1. Start Going to sleep earlier.  Relax as much as possible before bed. Try taking a bath before bed.  Sea Salt baths 3 times a week also to cleanse your aura/ energy field/ mind.  Trust me it works.

Drink some sleepytime tea, or Chamomile before bed.  Your main objective is to get the deepest sleep possible.

2. Meditate- If your not familiar with it, don't worry.  Just deep breathing into your Diapharm / stomach focus on the breath and don't think about anything.  The more breaths you take the calmer you'll feel .. I like to do it while laying in bed and I fall asleep while doing it.  I get maximum quality of sleep doing it.  Tip.  Deep Breath, on your exhale feel yourself sinking into the Chair,Bed.  It make feel funny at first but its alright.

Say a prayer before you sleep to ask your Guardian Angels to heal you as you sleep.

2. Detox yourself, colon cleanse, hydrocolon therapy.  take probiotics.  It'll increase the absorption of nutrients into your body.

3. Eat as health as possible, reduce meat .  Its very acidic.  Always make sure you have vegetables and Fruit with every meal. Don't worry yourself about it.

The most powerful part of healing is your mind. you faith that your hair is growing back no matter what.  If you have a spiritual connection to GOD, that's even better. It doesn't matter what religion you are.  It all depends on your heart.  Believe and Know that the Most High is healing in all aspects of your life and this hair situation is a learn tool for you.  I had to realize this.  I have learned so much since my hair came out, but I want my hair back now so I have to do what I have to, to get it back.

If your seek medical help, Stick to the Natural doctors.  The western medicine is not designed to heal anything, they just go after the symptom and not the cause. .

Our bodies are designed to heal itself, we must put it in the right environment to do what it's designed to do! THAT'S THE TRUTH

Ask me any questions.  and YES MY HAIR IS GROWING BACK.
