Hair Loss after stopping treatment?

I am finishing my seventh month on xeljanz, with amazing results..100% of my hair has regrown.  Has anyone completed a study and stopped the medicine? Does the hair remain or fall out?

When did you start seeing results on xeljanz? What month? And what dosage mate? I think it's likely to fall out again if you stopped mate. But I have heard some
People lowering there dosage up and down and maintained their growth..

I started to see results after about 4 months.The dosage was increased from 5mgs to 10mgs  I am now taking 20mgs.(10mgs x aday).Hair started first to appear on my arms and it rapidly increased after that..I have had no adverse reactions at all from the meds..

Thanks mrappe! So happy for you man ! Keep us updated if you lower your dosage or get off them ?! I see from the lady on intragram she had rapid growth with 10 mg a day but she went to just 5 and was losing hair ! But said as soon as she upped her dosage it started growing I guess everyone has to find their matainance leval.

Keep us updated on when you reduce/stop the dosage! I am considering trying Xeljanz at this point! Also, did you have any infections, major colds during your trial?

To no have relapse when you are  reducinfg or stop xelijnaz here a study, it's in italian, but the study is from maimi University

imvastatina/ ezetimibe...this droug appear stop the relapse (also help to have hair grown back )

Statine ed alopecia areata:
Le statine, largamente utilizzate come lipo-regolatori, hanno anche proprietà immunomodulatrici ed anti-infiammatorie ed inibiscono l’immunità  citotossica, che è uno dei meccanismi scatenanti  dell’ alopecia aerata.
Nel topo, modello animale della malattia, la terapia con  le statine induce la  ricrescita del pelo ma soprattutto è utile a prevenirne la ricaduta. Uno studio clinico  appena concluso presso l’Università di Miami ed in corso di pubblicazione ha dimostrato che l’associazione simvastatina/ ezetimibe  previene le recidive della malattia in circa il 70% dei pazienti.

Statins and alopecia areata :

Statins , widely used as lipo - regulators , have also immunomodulatory properties and anti - inflammatory and inhibit the cytotoxic immunity , which is one of the triggering mechanisms of ' aerated alopecia .

In mice , an animal model of the disease, statin therapy induces hair growth but is especially useful to prevent relapse. A clinical trial just completed at the University of Miami and being published showed that the association simvastatin / ezetimibe prevents recurrence of the disease in about 70 % of patients .
