I have been convinced that a very overlooked, non toxic drug called low dose naltrexone, LDN, can help with alopecia. I discussed with my functional dr to prescribe it. I brought her all my research. She was uncertain at first.

I found a compounding pharmacy to fill the order and we started. It has been about two months. My daughter has thousands of fuzzy blonde hairs coming in all over her head!! I think it's working!! Something certainly is!! She has been grain and dairy free for seven months. I am attaching photos. We will continue with this treatment plan. I finally feel a sense of hope where there was once so much fear and worry...

Wonderful!
If you click on my name, I have posted many links to LDN and it's potential to help with a wide range of autoimmune diseases. YouTube has videos, and there is much information on the web. So grateful to have found a drug with no side effects. Praying those beautiful hairs keep coming! I noticed this morning several of them have darkened to her natural color.

Your dr may be unaware, as mine was. Find one who will hear you out.

That's awesome, Glad to know that it's working. Is LDN the only thing you guys are using for Alopecia?

There are clinical trials for a wide range of autoimmune diseases. There is an absolute pluthera of videos and information on FB. The FB group is called Curing Autoimmune diseases with LDN. You will find your answers there. I can only say it is working for us and I am over the moon to see these fuzzy blonde hairs coming in all over her head. LDN is not toxic. There are no side effects. It's been a miracle for us! I will keep posting growth photos. For the first time in a yea, I feel peace.
We also do probiotics. Vitamin D. Organic diet dairy and gluten free. Omegas.

of all the things you are currently doing for AA why do you think it's the LDN that is helping? just the timing of it?

I think this because we have done the supplements and diet for 7 months. The hair continued to fall with the diet and supplements. We started LDN and the hair stopped falling within a month or so. Then hairs came another month later.
