Hi, I've been looking into why I lost my hair in August 2013, I have no bald patches left (had around 16 patches/ 2/3 of head bare) and I'm in the 'white fluffy' regrowth phase.  I believe I have PMDD.  I went to the docs as I have all the symptoms however he wouldn't let me get tested for PMDD but put me on Amitriptylene for the 'long term'.  Please can I ask, has anyone with Alopecia ever been tested for this and how did you go about it.  I felt as if my doc treated me like a hypochondriac.  I've kept a diary for 2 months of my behavioural patterns but he didn't even look at it.
