I've read so many posts about people trying to eat gluten free to see if their hair starts to come back.

Has this resulted in any good outcomes for anybody?

I mean, I go back and forth on whether I keep trying or, at this point (over 20 years), just basically giving up.

I feel I've come to grips with it and will just live with hardly any hair and then I hear of a new treatment or diet that's supposed to help.

I also saw a commercial today for Keranique? Anyone tried this? I guess it's shampoo, conditioner, etc.

Thanks for any help.

I have alopecia universalis and have Celiacs, being gluten free now for over 1 year it hasn't helped with hair growth. I wish it would :(

Thank you, Debbie, for your reply.

Yeah...I guess I thought it was too good to be true.

What won't we do to get our hair back? Oh well, guess I'll go have that bagel now. :)

My son eliminated gluten and since has had good results - hair has come back and feeling healthier overall. It's difficult to stick to the diet but well worth it.....
