Help! Can you dye a lace wig without dyeing the lace?

i just got my full lace wig today and it has a red tint!!! and red is not my color at all!!!!! i have been excited all week for this and now i fill crushed :( I know i can dye it but im scared the dye will not come out of the lace....plz plz plz help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

thanks for the info!! i already did it myself and i didnt get color on the lace but i still didnt get the color that i wanted :( the wig had a red tint to it and i hate red on me because it washes me out and i thought dying it would make it better but it didnt :(
