Help, I need to buy a wig for my daughter. She got her first one in Sept. from a friend in NY. We were very fortunate that he helped us when her hair loss became rapid and she was about to start school. However, it is not holding up very well. I heard we should stick with human hair because it looks the most natural and she won't have to worry about heat (i.e., opening the oven door, etc.). She is 16 years old, so this is difficult enough for her. The one she has is human hair, but it can't be very good quality because it is always getting tangled and seems to be thinning at the part. I want it to look as natural as possible so she can be comfortable and I want her to be able to part it wherever she wants, but she does not want a lace front. I have a catalog from Georgie, but I'm not sure where to start! What is the difference between red label european human hair, european hair and remy + human hair? What about the hair direction, the form has 2 choices - backward and forward? Then it asks, "machine wefted, closed net or hand made"? and material: white silk or monofilament? Ahhh! i used to think I was intelligent, but this is totally foreign to me. Can anyone offer some advice?
