Hello.
I have a Jacqueline's wig, HH, that I have been wearing full time since September. After trying a few other brands that I've ordered online, I keep coming back to this one, as it is the most comfortable and realistic one that I've found. Anyway...
What do you all use as an attachment for your wigs? Full disclosure -- I lost all of my hair, but some of it IS growing back, so I'm really only curious about non-vacuum style wigs. I tried the "wi-grip" and found it to be itchy and bulky. I've been using just a simple, plain brown and very wide headband for the past few months, but it's not as secure as I'd like.
Is there a wonder product that I should know about?
Thanks!

I don't have an answer to your question, but a curiosity about Jacquelyn wigs. Cost? Where did you get it? Is it hot? Is it HH? Do they last a long time? I have more, but if you can answer any of them It would be appreciated!!
Hi
I just suggested double side wig tape to another lady. I would go to your local wig store and see what they have to help.

I used 'blue tape' which comes ready cut in pieces about 3cm long. You can use it under the perimeter of any type of wig and it will hold firm. I usually only use one piece under the front of my wig when I am at work just to be extra cautious... but a few days ago I used it at the back hairline too whilst I did some very vigorous activity and it held beautifully. It does not harm the wig and I pull it off in one go or you can apply a little rubbing alcohol (isopropyl alcohol) with a cotton bud/cotton wool to loosen it off. If you do an internet search for 'blue wig tape' it is sold cheaply at loads of places.
The Gel Sure Grip by Beauty mark is way more comfy 4 me than Wi grip!
Thanks all!
Lexi - My Jacquelyn is growing on me. It was very expensive, but in my moment of desparation (and despair) I went for it. My health insurance covered about 1/3 of the cost, but it was still $1000. I can't speak of how long it will last, because I've only had it for about 3 months, but it seems to be holding up. I don't find it to be too hot, and it's pretty comfortable, just big.
Rose Marie and Debs - Tape won't work for me, because I have hair coming in, and I don't want to pull it out, but thank you!
Nicola - thanks for the tip! I'll check them out.
Aimee - you may be right! I never thought of my head as being small, but I *do* have to pull my straps all the way tight on my other wigs. Hmmm.
Glowgirl - tried the gel grip, didn't love it.
Ah well, back to the drawing board! I think I'll just take her back to the wig place and get her re-sized for the 3rd time.
Yes, get her resized Again.Been there.
Also, I like the tiny Toupee Snap clips. Not the large ones that come with wigs. They dont pull my wisps. Only this type works for me http://www.ebay.com/itm/Free-Shipping-50pcs-comb-clip-snap-clip-for...
Magpie
That sounds like the best alternative. I hope they sort it out for you so it feels a little more comfortable.
Good luck with everything.
