Tomorrow is the first day of school, and i'm coming at it wig-less! All natural, and all proud. :) I posted a picture on facebook of me without my wig, and everyone reacted well! I'm worried about the older kids, and what the kids that don't know me will say.

But even if they do make fun of me... it doesn't matter. :) You wanna know why? Because after so many years i'm confident. And i'm happy. I can be myself in front of everyone and still smile. I don't feel quite so alone. After so many years i've realized that i am beautiful. Inside and out. and it's a great feeling that i'm not going to lose.

Just wanted to let you guys know as an update! and so that you can wish me good luck!! Thanks for all the support i've gotten here. <3

Hi Sanah

good luck on your first day back to school...I too returned back to school about 2weeks now and I had that same fear of how the students was going to react, but once being able to make the students aware of the Alopecia and educating them on the disease, I was well pleased on the outcome. Students are wonderful, but as you said earlier it didn't matter what anyone else had to say, because i'm happy being me now and I agree we are beautiful with/without hair and we have decided to go without. Keep smiling.
you go girl!
