High RF and ANA blood tests results plus diagnosis of frontal fibrosing alopecia

I have all of the above but doctors can't seem to find a link. I have no symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis or other autoimmunine disease except hair loss. Does anyone else have this problem

What is RF and ANA?

RF is rheumatoid factor in the blood and ANA is anti nuclear antibodies in blood shows on a blood test.

I find hair loss very intimidating
I have used regaine, plaquenil and now on a short coarse of steroids to try and stimulate autoimmunine system

Pam, please see our group of ladies. 104 of us now, on this website in a group called 'frontal fibrosing alopecia', we are from many different countries; UK, USA, Canada, Germany, Portugal and Iceland.  We are sharing our treatment options and experiences.  If you post your question for our group you may well get some answers.  My own treatment for my FFA is plaquenil... my derm also uses doxycycline and steriod injections he is also recently advising patients to try rogaine (regaine).  good luck.
