I have alopipicia had have had it for many years, my focus has been on finding what's causing it rather than "treatment". I think without finding the root cause than I'll never find the cure.

All of the research I've done points toward chronic infections( things like Lyme disease, fungal/yeast overgrowth , parasites etc)and heavy metal toxicity as the root causes , with heavy metals being primary and infections being secondary. How many members here have silver fillings in their teeth? They contain and leak mercury into the body round the clock. Also how many have co existing health problems (mental or physical , in reality they are one in the same )

Various allergies , depression , anxiety , panic attacks , fatigue , lethargy are all symptoms of these issues as well. I'm interested to hear members health histories and backround info. When did your alopecia start? Did anything change in your life before this like diet, stress, illness , dental work, vaccinations etc

Putting the pieces of this puzzle together might be easier then we think if we all get on the same page. A big thing for me was realizing alopecia was a symptom of a problem in my body , not the problem itself. Let's find out what the problem is ...

But on what "facts" are you relying?  That's why I and other folks have asked you to cite your sources.  Which you refuse to do, except to say that we should be looking at "message boards" -- presumably populated by people like you with beliefs like yours.  That's not science and, as I mentioned above, I'm not going to invite diagnoses from untrained people who have rejected the scientific method in favor of fads and snake oil.

I'm not taking what you are saying as a personal attack.  I'm taking it as an attack on science, in general.  And I'm responding because it's important to protect the public, the scientific community, and the scientific process from junk science proponents like yourself.  Junk science harms people.

I just stated why I haven't disclosed my health information to you, Matt.  Your inability and/or refusal to read every word is part of the reason why you have fallen for pseudoscientific fads.  And, if you're going to wade onto a message board and proclaim that you have the key to a cause or a cure, then you need to be able to...wait for it... CITE YOUR SOURCES.

It very well could be genetic. Genetics being at least one of the factors. My mother & her grandmother had it. FYI I have alopecia too. It doesn't show in my profile pic but I have it the worst, it never gets better only worse
I thought i had alopecia, androgenetic alopecia that is, because my hair was thinning I had to cut it... Been doing this since April last year... And now its starting to grow. I think because everything is changing for me, moved from hotels, have a job, friends, car, my own room and bed, left a toxic church. Maybe my hair loss was caused by extreme stress.. Idk, my hair is still shedding...so I don't know what is up with my hair or going on with my body.

I also think so, friend, but I also think that the cause can be everything, the stress of everyday life, gluten, lactose, pesticides, that is, everything we consume.
