Hello everyone, I’m Anna from Poland. I’m 28 and I’m dealing with FFA (at least one of the doctors said so...) I’m losing not only hair on the scalp, but also my right eyebrow and right eyelashes. I would be very grateful if anyone of you could take a look at my photos and tell me if it really looks like FFA. To be honest, I’m devastated and can’t even imagine myself in the future ....
Is it possible that I will have at least my lashes back ??
please, tell me one nice word of hope ...
greetings from Poland and lots of love,
Anna

Hello Anna,
I did not see any pictures posted, but I will tell you that Alopecia is a wait and see condition. It can stop or it can continue to Alopecia Universalis, where you lose all the hair on your body. No one can really predict what the end up will be. With Alopecia most likely it is not scaring alopecia which means the follicles can live and regenerate hair. However the immune system dictates how severe the hair loss will be. Yes, it can all come back, but sad to say it can fall out again. There are many types of cosmetics out there for you to become aware of. There are amazing false eyelashes that look totally natural. It might be great to go to a cosmetic counter at a large department store that will take the time to show you ways to apply makeup that gie you the look you are comfortable with. That is what I did with my daughter who lost her hair. It gave her back the confidence she needed. Please let me know if you need anymore support or guidance. Greetings from California. Lisa
