Immune curiosity

Since joining here I have read a lot - however I don't read many saying that their immune system is causing the problem - both Brooke and I have a over active immune system causing our alopecia and also we both have a underactive thyroid Caused by our autoimmune problem- have many of you had your immune system tested and know if that causes your alopecia - just very curious ??

Very interesting. I know that I have had both auto immune and thyroid problems in the past so I am really certain that there has to be a connection. I am a veteran and have to use the VA healthcare system. I would really love to see a doctor that was a bit more concerned or modern or didn't actively discourage tests of any kind.
