Hi I have posted here before but I just wanted to let everyone know that I have been using indian herbal oils from dr Rohit shah and the us representative Holly Mcguffin. My daughter started with alopecia arearta in january. Went through numerous steroid injections but at the age of 4 i did not want my little girl to go throw with that. I began to research on line and founf the avyerdic oils I was sceptical at first but talked to the us rep Holly which made me feel better I started the oild in march and with in 2 months she had tons of new hairs coming in quickly now it has been six months since the start of it and so far so good hair is still coming in and getting longer. I do believe the oils helped and dr rohit shah and holly were there to answer every question Holly would return every call quickly and was very please i recommend them. Just wanted to let everyone know maybe this is an option

Where are you located and where do you get these oils from?
I live in Rhode Island USA. The oils come from india but I deal with a girl in the US I believe Michigan Holly mcguffin the website is alopecia treatment center. Dr. rohit shah and Holly McGuffin. Believe me I thought it was ridiculous and a little nervous getting something from another country but any questions you can call holly her number is on the website and she will ex[plain everything. She is very nice. Who knows maybe my daughters hair was going to come back anyway, but her spots were completely bald no signs of even hair follicles they were starting to think it was scarring alopecia and Holly said trust me use the oils and it will start to grow and it did in much less time than they had even said she sdaid 3-4 months and I saw it starting in 1 and a half months.
Hi Stacy, I just wondered if you had continued success with the oils. I talked to Holly today and am thinking of placing an order. Thanks for any input you can give.
Hi
I'm so pleased that your daughter's hair has grown back. :)
I don't know of the product you're talking about with your daughter, but I would feel a little sceptical. I'll write my history below to help you understand what often happens with children and alopecia.
My daughter lost her hair at 12 the diagnosis was alopecia areata, in the last 10 years she has gone between AA and AU five times. Her hair comes and goes, sheds and grows. In the last 10 years we have not used any treatments or medications. She has had what I call natural remissions, which are not unusual for those with alopecia.
I don't know if the product you are using is helping, but from the knowledge I have from NAAF etc. there is no cure or treatment that works consistently for those with alopecia. So be careful.
Hugs
Rosy
Keep looking for the good and praise it! Fret not about tomorrow, as tomorrow will take care of the things of its now. I am praise happy about the restoration of your kindergarten's hair. Keep looking up - God is looking down!
I'm so glad the oils are working for your daughter. I have started the same ones with my daughter however we are having problems applying nightly as she then has to wash her hair every morning. Did you apply the areata oils nightly or 3x/week with the hair oil? Any advice as to how you managed this would be helpful. We are running out of options!
Hi, I use the herbal oil three times a week. I use the arearta oil every night . At first it is overwhelming but once you get a schedule not bad. This is what works for me on Sunday night I put both oils, wash it out Monday am, Monday night I do 1 oil, then wash hair Tuesday night and do the one oil again, wednesday I do not wash and then apply the 2 oils again, I wash the hair thursday morning and then thursday night I do the herbal pwder with the yogurt, Then Friday i do the 2 oils again and was it saturday morning then do the 1 oil saturday night. Than back to Sunday lol!! My daughter is 5 now and she is pretty good with it. It has been 1 year since all this started and about 8 months since I started these oils. The larger spot is almost fully grown in except for one little dot the size of the eraser on a pencil which may never come back but I am extremely satisfied. I pray every night it does not start over again, bu I just continue the oils and I probably only have one more six month pack before I stop those if all goes well. How old is your daughter. My daughters hair started coming back after about a month and a half after starting the oils, It came in very fine at first but once it started coming in it quicker filled in. I hope you have great results. Where are you from I am from R.I.
Thanks for the reply, very helpful. My daughter is 14 and we are living over-seas in a hot climate so I'm hoping her hair will start to grow so she doesn't have to wear a wig, but we have ordered a custom one just in case. I'm still confused about the Areata Oil, didn't your daughter have to wash her hair after applying this also? Maybe I'm applying too much but it is very greasy and a little smelly so my daughter insists on washing her hair in the mornings after this, which is very tedious! Also we were instructed not to wash her hair more than 3x/week. Thanks again for your help and I'm so happy for you, your results give me hope for my daughter.
I probably wash my daughters hair 4-5 times a week. I guess it would depend how many spots. When I do the arearta oil it does not get too greasy I try to get it just on the spots and not the surrounding hair. She is only 4 so if it is a little greasy she does not realy care however being a teenager I can see how your daughter might care. They had told me you can wash it out as long as it had been on the head for about 8 hours. That it did not have to necessarily be over night. I hope everything goes well for your daughter it is so hard at first to find out they have this and overwhelming. At first we had done steroid injections with no results and she started getting a dent on her scalp. That is when I looked for alternatives. Her medical doctor at Boston Childrens' Hospital said that as long as it was working he thinks it is great.. I will keep my fingers crossed and pray
okay. In all my research I have noticed how Canada has the best wigs if that is the route you have to go. How is your daughter handling it
