So I have a question for all of you. When things are getting hot and heavy with your significant other and you're wearing a wig, what do you find keeps the wig in place? I have a lace front and I've only tried glue but it doesn't hold on very well, I have a bald head so I don't have any extra grip... was thinking about trying tape but have heard that it can cause pretty nasty rashes. Glue sounds like it'd be a better adhesive than tape but interested in hearing your experiences! I thankfully am dating someone who knew about my alopecia before we became official, but I still like to wear a wig during intimacy regardless. Thanks! :]

I too have a lace front wig and I haven't had much issues with it moving about, but the majority of the time I do wear wig tape for extra security. My boyfriend also knows but the last thing you want is for it to fall off or to be worrying about the thought of it. I have not tried the glue but my only downfall on the wig tape is when taking it off it can be extremely sticky. I have white fine hair regrowth and i find it sticks to the hair a lot. Worth a shot though i think.
This young woman is a fellow alopecian who has some very useful tips: https://youtu.be/0fSDxVRmVlM
Her channel on YouTube is My0little0secret. If you go to YouTube and type "How to wear a lace front wig", you'll find a lot of helpful tips. What I use on my lace fronts is vapon tape which holds much better.
This is a perennial question to an old thread and one I Googled a LOT, so I will still chime in. Also, can we EVER have enough information about this? I think not! Even if your S.O. knows, part of feeling sexy and confident is not having to worry about these things.
When I tape for "intimate moments," I tape it down like I'm planning for the apocalypse - full perimeter and then some extra rows on the mono or lace top (bonus - then it's stuck for at least a week or more!). My hair is longer, so it would help to do a bit of an updo so it doesn't get caught underneath you or your SO.
Early on, before I used apocalypse-grade taping, had a romantic interlude where I thought I felt my hairline shifting and that totally killed my mood.
Geographically, it helps to stay on top... :-)
