I've had some regrowth these past few months but my head has been so itchy lately. Once I start itching it, it itches more and more. I try not to itch it, but it really bothers me if I dont. I dont get it. And once I start itching, I notice hair falls out. Is there anything to help the itching stop? Is it normal?

Maybe you need to have anti dandruff shampoo as it may cause itchiness in your head.. or maybe you are using shampoo not suitable for your hair.

Hi

I have alopecia universalis
I have regrown and now have a white with black patches crop , this week I've noticed it falling out again loads at a time not jut a few hairs , faster than ever before my head really itches too so I scratch and out it falls I keep thinking this is it here we go again.
I'm having puva light therapy and they say it itches when it grows and it itches when it falls out so never quite know either way. No help I know but I know how you feel

Liz

soak ur hair in apple cider vinegar or onion juice for a few hours th longer the better and wash with shampoo ;; the itching will stop immediately
rub garlic or the juice of a small onion every day on the bald spots rub th spots with garlic till its sore coz u wanna get to the inner most layer of the skin which is bald to kill the fungus eating away your hair roots!!
