I have been meaning to post this about Madame Madeline who I found on the internet when my daughter needed the best and most natural eyelashes. They sell at an amazing discount if you tell them you have medical hair loss. They have DUO clear glue that is the best and your lashes can be worn for two days straight. They are an amazing company and I am glad I found them, The Ardell lashes #109 are the most natural I have ever found. Give them a try, they are amazing.

I forgot to mention we pay about $2.36 a pair, but I do buy about 50 pairs at a time. The discount is about 15%, forgot to mention that too,

If you promise not to tell my optometrist...  :-) 

I use Callas lash glue (Amazon), paint a thin line just above my lash line, let it semi-dry, and then put a thin line on my lashes, let it almost dry and then stick them on (cut them into three pieces to make them fit better and overlap a bit).  That lasts easily for a week and the double glue/dry technique seems to have as much to do with longevity as does the glue itself.  Be careful washing your eyes, water only, or if you use remover for other makeup, keep it away from your lashes. 

The brush-on I-Envy in latex-free formula lasts almost as long with that technique.  

Duo latex-free seems to last about four days.  

I will say if you keep lashes glued on that long, definitely scrub, scrub, scrub (gently) your lash line on the day you remove lashes, because there are microscopic cooties (that's the medical term) that live in your lash bases (all the time, from what I understand?), and they tend to proliferate when you keep lashes on for a week.  I use baby shampoo on peel-down day and rub my eyes and lash line until they feel squeaky clean.  This cannot be good for the skin (there's an esthetician somewhere cringing at this approach, for sure), but you want it clean.  My eye doctor recommended this $30 eyelid cleaner that contains tea tree oil, but having put tea tree oil on other parts of my body, I don't think I'd care to have it on my eyeline. 

If anyone knew of a medical glue that was approved for long-term (weekly) wear, I'd be interested.

Oh, and hey, I just go with longer, black lashes as my only makeup (if I'm feeling REALLY ambitious I might put on liner and an eyeshadow base to cover up the veins in my eyelids) and it seems to be fine on most days, so I think this will be a great look for you!  Also, I just feel better when I wake up and can see my eyes because I have lashes on (I'm naturally pale, blue eyes, so nothing on my face shows up). 

I haven't lost my eyebrow hair (they had the nerve to stick around and turn white and gray instead, mocking me), but I find waking up with penciled in eyebrows and lashes makes my face about a thousand times brighter.  Maybe that routine might help your mood, too?  Hope so!  

FYI, the Tarte Amazonian Clay Brow Mousse (or whatever the one is in the pot) is supposed to be waterproof, I think, and it did pretty well in our inferno-hot summers, so that or any waterproof eyebrow product might help you get to a "new normal" you're happy with.   :-)  Good luck!  

AND a post-script to my eyelash glue post above - if you have a "sticky factor" from the line of glue you put on your lid, just run a liquid pencil liner across it and it will "seal" off the glue.

You should use a glue that lasts no more than 7 days; otherwise, the glue will damage your natural lashes. The ones that last more than 7 days contain nasty chemicals. I've used those, and I had eye infections regularly. But honestly, I'd just simply go for a good pair of fake lashes that comes together with the glue. I've been wearing faux lashes for about 7 years now, and I tried several brands that both surprised me and hilariously disappointed me. Not long ago, I discovered a brand called https://www.acelashes.com/, and they sell many different types of fake lashes, and you might find the glue you want on their website too! I hope this helps!
