I have AU, and have very very sensitive skin, can anyone recommend a make up that might be Ok for me to use.  Iv aready tried Almay and Beauty without cruelty, and I get a reactions.

If it isnt bad enough having AU going without make up as well is the pits.

Thanks

Susan,

Aveda for sensitive skin is very good. The toner, nightime and daytime lotions together cost about $80-$90 dollars but they last 5-6 months....a little goes a long way. The Olay Regenerist line of lotions is wonderful! They don't burn when I apply them and they make my dry skin feel wonderful. Neutrogena also has a lotion out for night and day use that contains retinol for wrinkles (some people can tolerate the retinol and some can't). I use this before I apply the olay regenerist. Hope this helps.

Take care,

Libby
I don't now if this is true of all states in the USA ( Pat I know you're in the UK, but worth finding out)..but in New York state by law every cosmetic is returnable no questions asked. Stores may try to wiggle out of it but it's the law here. It became a law because there are so many cosmetics that create allergic reactions. On the other hand, some stores like CVS advertise " Try it!" and if you don't like it just bring it back for a full refund.

I've always had good luck with Bare Minerals foundation.
I have androgenetic alopecia AND Rosacea, and my skin is very sensitive. I have had good luck with I. D. Bare Escentuals' bareMinerals makeup. It is kind of expensive, but a little goes a long way, and it lasts a pretty long time. You can buy the starter kits at Ulta or Sephora, and those include brushes and small jars of the makeup to try to see if you like it. It also has SPF in it, so that's good for sensitive skin as well.
