Yes I have, and it is great! I had never met in person anyone else who had AA, and to meet someone who not only had AA, but even had the same pattern hair loss that I have (ophiasis) I had just shaved my head, and gotten a wig for the first time, and to be able to share with Elaine was wonderful, no one really knows what this is like unless you've gone through it yourself, after we met she decided on a wig herself and shaved her hair off, I got to see her in person with her "new" hair and she looked fantastic!! This site is so wonderful, I could have gone my whole life never being able to share face to face with anyone who knew what I was going through, Just visiting talking, and laughing you feel much less alone. I hope to meet others in person too, I've chatted with others from my general area, and hope to meet too one day, who knows maybe we will make our own little group. Love it!!!!

Yes, I met one girl from the site and since we are both vegetarians we went to a local veggie-friendly restaurant. Even though we never got together again and lost touch after, it was still a good experience. One note of advice if you ever meet anyone that you don't know from any site make sure that you meet somewhere in public!

A great please to meet people from this site and others around the world is to attend the NAAF Conference. I have meet many people from here and other sites at that conference.

Great to know you had a fun meet up. You are so right when you say this site Rocks!!
