I ahe seen a few posts on here about Mirena and losing hair. I had Mirena for about 4 months. I got is in July of this year, my hair started to fall out real fast, my head itched like crazy, sometimes is was like a burning on my scalp. Well, when I noticed my first bald spot, it was the size of a quarter. This was about 1.5 months after placement. Four months later, I have about 35% hair loss. I realized after reading all of the posts on here and other sites, this could be what is causing my hair loss. I had it taken out a week ago, and the itching has almost stopped 100% and my head doesn't burn anymore. It feels like there could be some stubble in my patches, but since it's only been a week, I'm not gonna hold my breath :) I will keep an update on this. Can't wait to see how this goes!
