Injections always worked for my eyebrows, and because of proximity, I had eyelash regrowth as well. But it is extremely painful getting injections in this area, and the hair was very temperamental. I couldn't stick with it. It's worth a try, but there is always makeup :) don't torture yourself if you're not happy with the results...

Thanks Abigail!! Still undecided if I should start this or not? It's been such a long time since I tried dealing with those lovely shots...I guess I could go just to hear what they have to say.

Hi sherri. My daughter got eyebrow shots for almost a year. She had only sparse regrowth and started getting those atrophy pitting. She stopped and it all fell out. There is a steroid cream / oil that she uses. Ask your derm about it. Has "amide" maybe "sufa" too in name. I did message it to someone. Would have to look at home.Somebody we know used it on her brows and both her brows and lashes grew back! Go figure. Every single case is different. Message me if u can't find it on my profile. I pray for my daughters ashes and brows to grow ........ :)

I'd like to know that steroid cream name, was it Clobetasol, i got steroid injections to eyebrows and see some regrowth but i'd like to use some steroid cream also.

Henry. Its not clobetasol.I promise to post it this Eve when I get home. Her friend grew back her entire lashes and brows and swears by it. She said it took 6 months religious use. I don't know that my daughter uses it everyday. I'll get back to u. Friend me if u like. :)

Pamela. Did u c it's fluocinolone. 01% solution ? Pretty benign. Don't think it has any significant side effects ....don't think it was pricey. Definitely worth a try.... :)

I watched Video's on youtube about using Castor Oil for Eyebrow Growth. A lot of people swear on it, you should google it. Also if you put Vaseline on your eyelashes it will make them grow :) If you end up losing them all & don't want to get permanent make up, I recommend you eyebrow tattoos from headcovers.com I just received mine yesterday & am very surprised how realistic they look. Youtube can be great help for concerns like this, how to do your make up & such if you don't have eyebrows or eyelashes. good luck!!

Hi Sophia - About your comments about Castor Oil and Vaseline etc ...
My aunt found she had alopecia as a child in the 1940's ... she applied olive oil to her head and the story goes that she had regrowth.

I myself have nevr tried any treatments for my 30 years of AA episodes.

The steroid cream/ oil is fluocinolone .01%. Apply sparingly to eyebrows once daily at bedtime. Ask your dermies about it. This came from a dermatologist that specializes in hair loss. Hope it can help someone! !! :)_

I got them. They worked, but they hurt like hell...wasn't worth the pain to me.
