If you have any concern about shaving your head all the time, you could also consider the Gemtress/Onrite wig, made from European Human Hair- as worn by Miss Delaware. It has less area that needs to have the head bald or shaved but grips the head well in some areas.Good luck. All wigs will look fabulous on you so have fun.

As everyone realises I am an advocate for Freedom Wigs. I am aware that the thought of taking away the last of your hair to wear a Freedom Wig may be a challenging thought. I went through that process myself with my daughter when she was 12. I fully understand that this type of decision is personal and something people work through in their own time.

In my experience the features and benefits you will receive with a Freedom Wig will nullify this decision, for my daughter there was no going back...but like I have said this really is your choice and I know without a doubt that the Freedom Independent Agent you're meeting and I would support you no matter what choice of hair you go with.

There are some very distinct differences between a Freedom Wig and other wigs available. The first and one of the most important for a young woman is the type of hair used in a Freedom Wig (100% unprocessed virgin human hair), there is no better hair in the world. It is the best the world can supply. The big one for my daughter is the way her hair moves and reacts like growing hair, updo's, ponytails, french plaits etc. are all doable as there are no wefts, the hair is implanted over the whole wig and looks like your growing hair. It is fully customised for you and as accurate as possible for your size and needs. Security is exceptional , as most who require security want it for all of life's choices, you can swim, roller coaster, do the hairflick when your hair is wet...live life. People can pull your hair and it will not budge (my daughter has tested the security of other wigs and even though some do stay on in certain circumstances, most other types of wigs will loose security when wet, or when pulled from the crown...my daughter felt that did not equate to security for her). A Freedom Wig is a specialist wig made specifically for people with extreme long term hairloss, it is not a fashion wig, but a wig that can be incredibly fashionable.

Hi Cindie

Freedom does their best to get virgin unprocessed hair to match the needs and ethnic origins of the wearer. It might be helpful if you contact your nearest Freedom Independent Agent and have a chat about what you want to achieve. Some hair is very difficult to get, but Freedom will do their best to get the hair you require in the texture, colour and length you want.
