New drug for Alopecia Areata

Hi all. Even though I haven't been diagnosed with AA, but rather another form of alopecia unknown... I started getting emotional when I was visiting Dr. Welma Bergfeld of Cleveland Clinic on Monday and she told me that a new drug is in the making that looks more promising than any drug has ever been for alopecia areata. Just wanted to share for those of you who have AA. Blessings....

Hi Chefpam! Thanks for this info, sounds good! Do you know what kind of drug the dr was talking about, active substance or name of the drug? Please let us know if you find out. Fingers crossed.. :)
