Can anyone tell me whether they have tried Nioxin and what the outcome was? I have just bought some for my daughter to try but now am worried that I just got sucked in by a salesman. Any comment would be appreciated. thanks

A hair stylist at an upscale salon—that doesn't even sell the product—advised me to purchase this. He claimed that it helps induce blood flow and he has seen patients with Universalis grow their hair back fully! So I'm glad you brought this up. Any one on here with first hand experience using Nioxin??
I have androgenetic alopecia. I have lost most of the hair on the sides of my head and top, and mine is breaking off and little short, white hairs are coming in. Don't know what this is about, can anyone tell me anything about their experience with this? As for Nioxin, I tried it for over a year, and it didn't help me at all, just irritated my scalp. Of course, I have sensitive skin issues anyway, so don't know if it is just me or the product. I didn't notice that it helped me much with the hair loss, though.
