One for the Ladies

Hi all and sorry this is one for the girls, was just wondering if anyone has found the contraceptive pill of help/hinderance? I ask as I stopped mine for a couple of months and found my hair loss worsened, I have however re commenced using it "mycrogynon" and found my hair loss has slowed considerably/stopped, I was finding loads on my pillow on a morning and now not finding any, coincidence? Also started using an anti depressant so could be due to this? I dont really know just wondered if anyone else out there noticed similar?

Hi Donna. Since being off of oral contraceptives I've had more success in growing hair. However, I've also made many changes to my lifestyle (regular exercise, decreased stress, vitamen supplements). So, it may be coincidental. I see you are a nurse. Do your colleagues have any insights?

I nurse in mental health so doubtful however i dont mention my aa at work, its well hidden with the use of extensions and i dread the day i will have to tell all, our patients would most likely not be understanding and i dare say i will become the object of ridicule, oh well i'll cross that bridge when i come to it? x
