Hi all

I am wondering if anyone has even been put on the above? I have had alopecia aretaa for 21 years in various degrees but never full remission, I tried every treatment circa 2012 and decided to try to get on with a combo of diet and natural treatment for the last 9 years, I recently went back to the dermatologist to enquire if any new treatments were avaliable and although this immunosuppresent is by no means new it can be used for alopecia areta, cannot seem to find to much literature online regarding use for alopecia areata so was wondering if anyone had tried it?

Tacrolimus is used with other medications to prevent rejection of a kidney, heart, or liver transplant, that's why. It has a couple of pages of side effects. https://www.webmd.com/drugs/2/drug-10097-6108/tacrolimus-oral/tacro...
