Outsider looking in - to the bald ladies !

I joined this site for support with my son who is balding from a thyroid/endocrin issue. When I joined I never realized how many people have Alopecia. I have learned so much from this site. What I did want to say, and yes I know its easier for me to say but I think woman who are totally bald are the most attractive woman I have ever seen . Woman w/out hair have this beauty that cant be discribed. Your facial features, smile, neck, and collar bones stand out so much more. The things that make us sexy woman. It also has that im a tuff girl yet so fem at the same time. I had a friend who lost her hair to chemo and she thinks im crazy but I always tell her that was the best her hair ever looked. Her look became so confident, like a runway model . I wish I could just go and shave all mine off and be able to carry that independant strong look, but my luck my head would be a disaster. lol. Maybe one day I just may do it?
* So for any of the woman out there who think strangers are looking at you maybe wierd please know there are some of us who just think "dang that girl looks good"....

I was pleasantly surprised when I shaved my head. I said, "Dang, girl, you look good!" Thanks for confirming it for me! LOL.

Not that anyone needs any kind of confirmation from me, but I think it looks fantastic. I hope I didnt insult, I just wanted to compliment and express my feelings.

Hi there I totally agree. I look at my daughter who is AU and her skin is so soft and smooth and beautiful.

Even though I have never lost all my hair, I lost enough - and I am sitting here with tears in my eyes after reading your post. Thank you it means a lot, and you haven't insulted me.

I look at women who walk around bald and think the same thing damn she is gorgeous,, where I live there are plenty who do so it is not uncommon to see that .
