I have been AU for several months now and recently kept thinking I had a hair stuck in my eye. I have 2 furry cats so that is not unusual but on closer inspection I have a tiny row of very short blond hairs growing where my once eyelashes were. I still have no hair elsewhere so I am skeptical that my eyelashes could be growing considering that is the only area I can not treat(minoxidil, steroid creams etc.) I would love to have eyelashes and eye brows again as most of you know, you think losing the hair on your head is the worst thing ever then you lose the eyebrows and eyelashes and see the alien looking at you in the mirror! I have come to except that I will be wearing makeup as soon as I exit the shower. So I am so happy to have possible re growth and so terrified that it will not last, anyone else experience this?

Yes, Hello Cstarr, I too have that hair growth from time to time along with some blond eyebrows..
I still have faith that things will happen, regrowth etc. I have been AU for 25 years.
Even though it has been this long, I do believe that someone will come-up with a solution. It was exiciting to hear about the guy who regrew his hair with the the rheumatoid arthritis medicine - as predicted by his doctor. I wonder what the latest on him is? Did he keep his regrowth? Have a fun day.... Curly
I have had AU since '08. I lost everything. I went out with some gals to watch them get eyebrows tattooed on. I refused thinking it would be me giving in to the circumstance and what would I do if my eyebrows came back. My eyebrows and eyelashes have come back completely - its been 4 years and I have lost none. So don't give up hope - if I would have listened to everyone and statistics - what happened to me should not have happened.
